50th Class Reunion
Congratulations to the Class of 1974 on the 50th Reunion year of your graduation from High Point University! This year we are commemorating two milestones - your 50th reunion and HPU's Centennial year! We want to celebrate this honorable achievement on Commencement Weekend, May 3-4, 2024. The weekend will be filled with special events and opportunities to reconnect with fellow classmates including a special reunion dinner, induction into the distinguished Cornerstone Club and leading the commencement processional on Roberts Hall Lawn. We are excited to celebrate this momentous occassion with you!
Below, you will find important information about the 50th Reunion, including action items before the celebration and weekend details.
Memory Book
As part of this anniversary, our team will create a 50th Reunion Memory Book, complete with “then and now” photos and contact information for each classmate. The book will be a gift for you to commemorate this milestone, and help you remain in contact with classmates. Every classmate who submits a form will receive a complimentary copy.
Please download the form and return it completed by March 1, 2024 to the Office of Alumni Engagement along with a recent individual or family photo.
Reunion Giving Campaign
We encourage all members to participate in the Class of 1974 Reunion Giving Campaign as a way to honor your class and support our beloved alma mater. All gifts, at any level, will count towards the Class of 1974 Reunion Goal for the year. This will include annual gifts, multi-year pledges and planned gifts through your financial or estate plans. Special opportunities for the campaign include representation in the new Elizabeth Miller Strickland Scholarship Plaza and the possibility of matching funds to further increase the impact of your collective investment. Please consider making a gift today.
Reunion Weekend Schedule
The 50th Reunion Weekend will include a variety of events to reconnect with your classmates and the campus. Activities and programs begin at 12:00pm on Friday, May 3, 2024 and will conclude by 2:00pm on Saturday, May 4, 2024. A full schedule will be released soon.
