Alumni Association Merit Scholarships

Each year, the Alumni Board of Directors Scholarship Committee awards thousands of dollars to current High Point University students in the form of Alumni Association Merit Scholarships. All full-time undergraduate students are highly encouraged to apply for one of the 9 available Alumni Merit Scholarships. Alumni Merit Scholarships are not available to graduate students.

All applicants must have completed a FAFSA with the Office of Student Financial Planning. The FAFSA can be completed here. Funds are awarded to the most qualified applicants who meet the respective award criteria, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, are of high character, and show promise of high future potential.

Applications for the 2025-2026 Alumni Merit Scholarships are open March 5, 2025 to April 15, 2025. Complete the General Scholarship Application at the button below. Eligible students will be invited to complete the Alumni Merit Scholarship Application upon completion of the General Application.
