The Experience

Students from various majors across the University greatly benefit from learning about diverse organizational infrastructures that empower high-performing teams to thrive in today’s competitive market.

During the site visits, students engage in the following:

  1. Introduction to senior management and sessions on the company’s corporate culture.
  2. Overview of internship and entry-level hiring processes by the human resources team.
  3. Networking session with current employees.
  4. Guided tour of the company’s facilities.

This valuable opportunity enhances students’ understanding of industry dynamics and provides insights into potential career paths.

Trip Costs

The estimated cost for this trip is up to a maximum of $1,000 per student. This comprehensive fee covers airfare, a two-night hotel stay (with double room assignment), and incidentals for meals, among other expenses. All students are required to stay together as a group at a hotel designated by High Point University. It’s worth noting that costs can potentially be minimized by thoughtfully choosing airfare options or exploring travel alternatives such as utilizing airline miles.

Upon being selected, University staff will provide support in arranging flight bookings and will ensure suitable accommodation assignments for attendees.
