HPU in the City Employer Site Hosts (October)

Co-sponsored by the Offices of Career and Professional Development and Institutional Advancement, HPU in the City is recommended for freshman, sophomores and juniors seeking to explore career opportunities in a major metropolitan market and learn more about internship programs, corporate and nonprofit culture. High Point University alumni and parents have graciously provided mentorship and insight into career exploration for today's students by opening the doors to the leading employers in New York City; Washington, DC; and Charlotte, NC. Each fall, ten to fourteen students are selected to travel with University representatives to these prestigious organizations that are leading the way in their respective industries.

    1. Host opportunities are two-fold: (1) cover the costs of the networking event one evening while in the city, or, (2) provide a tour and speaking opportunity at a leading employer in the city.
